On Easter Saturday, the second edition of our Vide Jardin was even more successful than the first one last year. A wonderful array of plantes, coffee and delicious cakes, live music and a great ambience resulted in new members for the association and a total of nearly 2000€ for the refugees! All the various plantes were donated by kind gardeners. Lovely live music was played by Sabine van den Bergh on the accordion and her sister who played the piano. A very special thanks to Emilie Goemans for organising the event and to her and Belinda Berry for all the wonderful tomato and other vegetable plantes they reared and sold and to Sara Costelloe who opened the doors of her beautiful house and garden once again.
Le samedi de pâques, nous avons eu la deuxième édition de notre "Vide-Jardin". C'était une journée merveilleuse, beaucoup de monde est venu, des nouveaux membres pour l'association et près de 2000 euros pour les réfugiés. Nous remercions tout le monde pour les donations de plantes, et surtout Emilie Goemans pour l'organisation et elle et Belinda Berry pour tous les plants de potager! Sara Costelloe a de nouveau ouvert les portes de sa magnifique maison et jardin et Sabine van den Bergh et sa soeur nous ont enchanté avec leur musique! Merci à tous!!
